To foster tourist attraction, Maldives gives a free thirty-day visa on arrival to all nationalities who have a valid passport, a valid ticket to further on their journey out of the Maldives and adequate funds to cater for all expenses for the period of their stay in the Maldives. Please note that no pre-arrival visa is required to enter into the Maldives. For a longer trip, you can choose to extend your visa for a duration of about 90 days but you will further have to provide proof of just enough funds to get you through the period.
